It’s finally here! DCS has come west and is here to stay. A special thanks to all of you that expressed a desire to have a show closer to you.
DCS West is a new show being coordinated by the western area DeLorean clubs and chaired by Ken Montgomery. Along with the DCS staff, we plan to build a memorable and lasting event as the shows have done back east.
In September of 2009 (Sept. 24 to Sept. 27) we will begin our western adventures at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Las Vegas was chosen due to its location and draw as a tourist area. The Palace Station is an ideal location that has hosted many other car shows including the Corvette and Mini car shows recently.
DCS West will follow the proven format established by the preceding DCS shows but we plan to take the show in our own uniquely western direction. To that end, we will focus on the cars and owners that make the DeLorean continue to be one of the most fascinating and affordable cars in the world.
This is your show and your input and participation is required for its success. A show of this scale requires a lot of volunteers. Please consider helping us with this event. Check with Ken M or one of the committee Chairs if you’d like to be part of the DCS West team! |
